Who is responsible
SponsoredStamp is run by an individual owner based in Singapore, who is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: info@sponsoredstamp.com.
What we collect
You can use SponsoredStamp without an account. When you visit, we collect only what is needed to run the website:
- Technical information about your visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. Our web server records this in its logs, and our website stores a short session record with your IP address and browser type.
- Two cookies that the website needs to work: a session cookie (
sponsoredstamp-session), which expires after 2 hours without activity, and a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN) that protects forms against forgery. We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
We use this information to run the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and fix problems. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Information in the government data
The employer records come from public government sources. Some UK sponsors are sole traders whose register entry includes a person's name. We do not show individuals' names: we show the business's trading name instead, or leave the entry out.
If you create an account
- Your email address, to send you sign-in links and the job alerts you ask for. We store a sign-in link's code only in a scrambled form, and it stops working after one use or 30 minutes.
- Your saved job alerts (the search words and filters you chose), so we can email you new matching jobs. You can remove them on your account page or with the link in each alert email.
- Your subscription: payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, which collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details. Paddle tells us your customer and subscription reference, your email, the status of your subscription and your payments, and we keep that to give you access and show your receipts.
We keep your account until you ask us to delete it. Email us to delete your account and everything linked to it; Paddle keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Who else handles your information
- Hostinger, which provides the server the website runs on.
- Google Fonts, which provides the website's fonts. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address.
- Paddle, which handles payments and subscriptions.
- An email delivery service, which sends sign-in links and job alerts on our behalf.
These providers may store information in countries other than your own.
How long we keep it
- Session records are deleted automatically after they expire.
- Server and error logs are kept only as long as needed for security and fixing problems, and are then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, although the website may not work properly without the two cookies above. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@sponsoredstamp.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
SponsoredStamp is for adults looking for work. It is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will update this page when what we collect changes, and show the new date at the top.
